B dot Medical Inc. and Edogawa Hospital Group held a basic agreement signing ceremony to realize the concept of Tokyo Edogawa Cancer Center. They have entered into a basic agreement(*) for the installation of an ultra-compact proton therapy system developed by B dot Medical in December 2022.
On April 3, 2023, a signing ceremony was held at Edogawa Medicare Hospital (Edogawa-ku, Tokyo) for the signing of a basic agreement to realize the Tokyo Edogawa Cancer Center concept, which aims to provide advanced cancer treatment including proton therapy.
Edogawa Hospital Group plans to open a proton therapy center at Edogawa Medicare Hospital located in Tokyo and it is easily accessible from the Tokyo metropolitan area. When this concept is realized, it will provide advanced medical care to cancer patients in the metropolitan area. This will solve a problem that has been in high demand but has not yet been installed due to space issues.
B dot Medical and Edogawa Hospital Group, both located in Edogawa-ku, Tokyo, are pursuing cancer treatment that meets the changing needs of patients over time. In order to expand the provision of advanced cancer treatment from Edogawa-ku to the world, we will continue our efforts to start offering proton therapy as soon as possible.
