B dot Medical Inc., a medical device startup based in Edogawa-ku, Tokyo, received the prestigious Japanet Group Prize of 50 million yen investment in the Japan Qualifier of the “Startup World Cup 2022”. The event took place at Grand Hyatt Tokyo in Roppongi, Minato-ku, Tokyo on July 21st, 2022.
The Startup World Cup is a global pitch competition focused on building the startup ecosystem and nurturing entrepreneurship, with qualifying rounds held in over 70 countries and regions.
Among the ten finalists selected from over 200 applicants, B dot Medical delivered an impassioned pitch about our project on the development of an ultra-compact therapy system to overcome the challenges in proton therapy. The judges recognized the good growth potential of the business, leading to the well-deserved award.
