B dot Medical Inc. has received a total of 200 million yen in loans (including 100 million yen in equity subordinated loans) from The Shoko Chukin Bank, Ltd.. It is rare for government financial institutions to finance venture companies, and this is a result of their strong sympathy with our vision of creating an era in which anyone can receive proton therapy.
Together with the 700 million yen third-party allocation of new shares as of the end of January 2021, we have raised a total of 900 million yen in funding. We will build a strong foundation for commercialization of our proton therapy system, as well as increase employment along with that. Furthermore, we will make further efforts to bring proton therapy to as many cancer patients as possible.
