Dr. Takuji Furukawa, who is a President and CEO in B dot Medical Inc., gave a talk about Beam Delivery & QA of Particle therapy system at International Training Course on Carbon-ion Radiotherapy (ITCCIR 2020) on November 16-29 online, and received an outstanding performance award which is evaluated by participants and the number of views.
The training course of ITCCIR aims at promoting an integrated technology in particle radiotherapy with protons and carbon ions, providing basic knowledge and practice-oriented training concerning carbon-ion radiotherapy as well as other topics related to this field. This year’s training was held online due to the effects of the coronavirus, and 118 participants from 25 institutions in 11 countries attended the course for two weeks.
