Today, it is said one in two may get cancer in Japan. Among the various treatment methods, radiotherapy is one of the most attractive ones because it can cure cancer without cutting. Compared to X-rays, proton beam therapy is expected to have less side effects and higher therapeutic efficacy due to its extremely good dose distribution. However, due to the size of the system and its high cost, there is a serious problem that "it is not widely used even though it is a great treatment". In other words, only a very small number of patients are able to benefit from this wonderful treatment. In order to solve the problem, we are working on the development of an ultra-compact proton cancer therapy system with the mission of "bringing proton therapy to all X-ray therapy patients". In the development, we will work diligently on various technical issues and do our best to make the system a joy to the users and to deliver it to you as soon as possible.
